We are reading about different kinds of food and Thanksgiving. Our letter this week was “Nn” for November. Next week, we will learn the letter “Tt” for Thanksgiving and turkeys.



Jesus Time


We read about Elisha and about some kings. We learned about making good choices even if others do not.

Chapel offerings for the month of November and December are going to the St. Paul's high school (Concordia) choir to help with expenses as they travel abroad next summer.



I look forward to sharing your child's progress with you at parent/teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday. A reminder of your scheduled time was sent in your child's folder yesterday.

Mon., Nov. 20: Grilled ham & cheese sandwich, vegetable, fruit, chips


Tues., Nov. 21: Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin dessert


Mon., Nov. 27: Fish pattie, fried potatoes, vegetable, applesauce


Tues., Nov. 28: Chili, peanut butter/jelly sandwich, vegetables/dip, oranage slices


Wed., Nov. 29: Cheese pizza, vegetable, fruit, cake


Thurs., Nov. 30: Chicken noodle soup, hot roll, fruit, cookie


Fri., Dec. 1: Baked pork loin, mashed potatoes, corn, fruit

Important Dates:


Nov. 13 & 14: No school (parent/teacher conferences)


Nov. 15 – 17: No school (teacher's conference)


Nov. 22 – 24: No school (Thanksgiving vacation)


Dec. 19: All school Christmas program (note the date has changed since the original school calendar as all students will perform one program together instead)


Dec. 20: Early dismissal at 11:00 a.m. (no lunch served), classroom Christmas party at 10:00 a.m.
