Thank you for sending back weekly reading logs. Reading at home can make a huge difference in your child becoming a life long reader. Read one book a night and use the weekend to catch up if you need to :). Send these back on the following Monday.

Reading

We will practice all of our reading corners: independent reading, listening to reading, writing, word work, and classroom library. Building our stamina will prepare us for working independently while I have a reading group.

Math

We are creating and reading color patterns, acting out story problems, and identifying ordinal positions. We will continue writing numbers.

Chapel offerings may be brought in on Wednesday of each week. Any amount is appreciated. The offering for the month will go to Mr. and Mrs. Brandt, a teacher in the building. Her husband recently had a transplant and is doing very well. We thank God for His blessings shown to the Brandt family. Please pray for his continued success.
